In light of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in and around LSU campus, Our Mom’s Restaurant & Bar has taken important steps to ensure the safety of our customers, community and team members. These steps include:
Temporarily closing our Baton Rouge location, effective Sunday, June 21st at 4PM
Complete sanitizing of our Baton Rouge location by Baton Rouge Sanitizing with the use of touchless electrostatic fogging technology on Monday, June 22nd
Providing testing location information to all employees and requesting that they be tested for COVID-19 before returning to work
Although the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) does not state that restaurants should shut down or test employees as a COVID-19 precaution, we are taking these steps out of an abundance of caution and concern for the wellbeing of our team and patrons.
Upon our reopening, previously instituted safety measures such as regular sanitizing of surfaces and equipment and temperature checking of all employees prior to their shift will remain. While we wish to serve you as soon as possible with exceptional food and attentive service, our priority will continue to be public health and safety.
